Unit Medical Visit
You will use an I-60 Form -INMATE REQUEST TO OFFICIAL- to see medical. Medical will use this form to respond to you by creating a “Lay In” slip for the time and date of your appointment. You use this Lay In to get out of your cell or dorm.
Pill Window
If you are prescribed a single pill of medication, you will normally go to the Pill Window to get it. If you are prescribed a quantity of pills, you will be sent a “Lay-In” to go to the Pill Window when they are ready. These are called KOPs-Keep On Person. They are a blister pack cardboard filled with the pills which you punch out for each dosage.
